our interchangeable welcome sign base has a solid white finish with black painted letters and lightly sanded edges. the sign base itself is 3/4" thick and roughly measures 48” x 7.5”. this signs intended use in an outdoor setting is away from direct elements, near a porch, front door or easement. we seal the sign base with a water resistant sealer.
